We are looking for a high-energyteam player to join our team as Custom Home Field Manager to help manage the tile, carpet, and hardwood installation and subcontractor base who support our sales team.

Job Focus: The Builder Field Manager will focus on managing new construction installation and warranty for custom home and some track builders. The primary focus of this position will be communicating with builders superintendents and our sales staff to insure installations are executed seamlessly and are inspected once finished for approval. In addition, the filed manager will be a contact for warranty claims when needed with homeowners and builders. They will identify and resolve any items that arise during or after closing. The ability to stay organized and provide a high level of service in a fast-paced environment is key to success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Visit new homes to conduct to pre-walks, current installations, and post-walk houses after installation for subcontract pay approval.
  • Work directly with the install manager to coordinate installations, punch work, and warranty work if needed.
  • Complete minor touch-ups and repairs as needed
  • Ensure sub-contractor base has necessary materials for jobs, delivery materials as needed
  • Address customer concerns and issues, escalating them as necessary for job completion and customer satisfaction
  • Field measure homes to confirm plans are accurate
  • Inspect and manage after closing warranty work (60 day and 1 year)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in home building or construction related field
  • Ability to read and interpret house plans, selections, specifications, and material descriptions.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and complete tasks to the fullest ability.
  • Team player with high quality standards
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to call builders and homeowners to discuss concerns
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills are essential
